thames and tower bridge at dawn

This was the view that greated me as my train pulled into Blackfriars Station early one morning. There was just time to take the photograph before having to get off. Looking down the Thames towards distictive shape of Tower Bridge Cannon Street station with its twin domes is on the left. Above the platforms this used to house the old LIFFE exchange but this has now replaced it's trading floor with an electronic market. In the middle of Tower Bridge it is possible to pick out the radar mast of the WW2 cruiser HMS Belfast, moored just upstream in the Pool of London, now preserved as a floating museum.
